Please read the release notes and pay special attention to breaking changes before you install the update. If you are updating from an older release, read all the intervening release notes. For example, if you are updating from version 3.5, read the release notes for 3.6, 3.7, etc.
Update Notes
- Shipper 3.9 is designed to work with ShipRush 8 and UPS WorldShip 12.
- Shipper 3.9 only works with Shipping Agent 3.9.
Installing the Update
If you are updating from a previous version, you will need to update both Shipping Agent on your website, and Shipper on your desktop as described below.
First: Update Shipping Agent on Your Website
No Shipping Agent is required for eBay stores.
- Download the new Shipper Agent installer for your e-commerce platform from http://shippingagent.codeplex.com/
.
- Run the installer to extract Shipping Agent files to a directory on your computer.
- Copy the extracted Shipping Agent files to your website as described in readme.txt file that is extracted.
Second: Update ShipRush on Your Computer
If you are using ShipRush to print labels, follow these directions.
- Download the ShipRush installation packages.
- Run the installers to update ShipRush.
Third: Update Shipper on Your Computer
These instructions apply to both the Gold and Platinum Editions of Shipper.
- Download the new Shipper installation package.
- Unzip the files to a clean directory on your computer.
- Run setup.exe to install the update.
